5) Painting
Before fabrication, all external surface of deck, side and bottom plating will be shop blasted to SA2.5 at shop and primed with one coat of shop supplied primer. After fabrication, all external surface will be sand swept follows with Two (2) coats of Coaltar Epoxy paints (Hempel products) for the side and bottom plating and together with one (1) coat of tropical anti-fouling shall be added to the bottom plating. The deck plating be coated with one (2) coat of Coaltar Epoxy paint.
6) Ballast Tanks
Six (6) units of Ballast Tanks. All welding in these tanks are to be full weld. Before fabrication, all steel plates, angle bars and H-beams to be used for the ballast tanks shall be shop blasted and primed with one coat of shop primer. After fabrication, all internal welding shall be power tooled and touch up with primer. The ballast tanks shall be given two (2) coat of Coaltar Epoxy paints (Hempel).
